Big screen, big moves. ZoeDance runs on your phone or tablet. Show it on the TV and let the phone be the remote. Turn on TV mode (the TV button on the home screen) for bigger moves and text you can read from the sofa. It also switches on by itself on a wide landscape screen.

Android phone or tablet, Chromecast or Google TV: open ZoeDance in Chrome, tap the three dots, choose Cast, save and share then Cast, pick your TV and choose Cast tab. On a laptop use Chrome's menu, Cast. Pick Cast tab (not Cast screen) so the music plays on the TV.

iPhone or iPad, Apple TV or AirPlay TV: swipe down from the top right corner to open Control Centre, tap Screen Mirroring and pick your TV. Turn the phone sideways first.

Before you start: phone and TV on the same Wi-Fi; set the phone not to lock the screen; prop it up where your child can reach it. Clear a little floor space so nobody bumps the furniture.

Privacy: casting is done by your phone and your TV. ZoeDance sends nothing anywhere.

ZoeDance collects nothing about your child. No accounts, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, one optional one-time purchase (unlock everything) that only a parent can start. The only link out is, in the website and itch.io versions, one grown-up-only button that opens the page where the unlock code is sold.

No network use. After the app files load, ZoeDance makes no network requests. Songs you add never leave this device. Music is analysed on the device.

Stored on this device only. Browser local storage keys (all start with zd:): zd:progress (unlocked dancers, best scores), zd:streak (the dates you finished Today's Groove), zd:look (chosen outfit), zd:mirror, zd:lite, zd:camera, zd:tv, zd:sync (settings), and zd:remix:* (dance variation per song). IndexedDB database zoe-dance: stores songs (songs you add) and maps (analysis of those songs). The offline cache zoedance-* holds the app's own files.

Camera (optional, off by default). If a parent turns it on, video is processed in memory to score movement. It is never recorded, stored or sent anywhere.

Delete everything. Use Erase all data in the parents panel. It removes all of the above and restarts the app. Uninstalling the app does the same.
