ZoeDance Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

In short: the ZoeDance game collects nothing about your child or you. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no links out of the game. Everything the game remembers stays on your device. The only thing we ever store is an email address, and only if a parent chooses to join the waitlist on this website (see "Waitlist" below).

Who we are

ZoeDance is a children's dance game made by Tal Solomon. Contact: EMAIL_TBD.

What the game collects

Nothing. We do not receive, collect, sell, share or process any personal information from the game, and the game does not ask for a name, email, age, location or photo. There are no third-party SDKs, advertising networks, analytics tools or social features in the game.

Network use

The game has no server. Once its own files have loaded (the first time it is opened, then cached for offline use), it makes no network requests. Music is analysed on the device. Songs a parent adds never leave the device. The game and this website use no third-party fonts, scripts or content.

What is stored on the device

These items are saved on your device only, to remember settings and progress. We cannot see them.

Waitlist (website only)

This website has an optional waitlist for news about new songs and the full launch. It is for parents and guardians aged 18 or over; children should not use it.

Camera (optional)

The camera is off by default. A parent can switch it on so the game can score the child's movement. Video frames are processed in memory on the device and are never recorded, saved or sent anywhere. Switching it off, or closing the game, stops it.

Children

ZoeDance is designed for young children and is compliant with the spirit and rules of COPPA (US) and GDPR-K (EU/UK), because the game collects no personal data at all. The only data we hold, waitlist emails, is collected from adults only.

Deleting data

In the game: open the parents panel from the small lock button on the home screen and use Erase all data. This removes everything listed under "What is stored on the device" and restarts the game. Clearing site data in the browser, or uninstalling the installed app, also removes it all. Because the game holds no data about you on our side, there is nothing to delete there.

Waitlist: see above.

Changes

If this ever changes (for example if a feature needed the network), we will update this page and the in-game Privacy page before the change ships.
